The Yogic lifestyle comes natural to Casandra. Her practice began in 2001 and has continued to evolve throughout the years. With a passion for learning the various schools of the art form, she committed herself to learn from the best. She completed her teacher training at Radiantly Alive in Bali, Indonesia under the tutelage of Daniel Aaron and holds an Ashtanga training certification from the living legend Tim Miller. She also holds a certification in Kids Yoga Teacher Training from Jodi Komitor of Next Generation Yoga and a Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Sebastian Pucelle & Murielle Burellier.
Her classes are Vinyasa Flow based, often infused with a smidge from other styles and techniques that include Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Iyengar, Bhakti, Tripsichore, Anusara and Restorative. Also, Pranayama, Meditation, Ayurveda and Chanting are a part of her life.
Although always focused on alignment of the Asana practice, her greatest love of Yoga comes from experiencing the internal aspect of it, the spiritual and transformational effect it has on oneself. Expect to sweat, laugh, learn and start to see things differently as you walk out from one of her classes. Feel the Yoga high!
Additionally, she continues to travel extensively in order to expand her knowledge by training with other world class teachers including Edward Clark, Damien De Bastier, Alanna Kaivalya, Deborah Williamson and Tias & Surya Little.
She holds a B.A. of Communication Advertising, a Master in Brand Management from Polimoda in Florence Italy and speaks four fluent languages.
“Yoga has helped me achieve a healthy balance and quality of life by aligning my goals to my purpose, seeking congruence in everything I do. I am grateful to be able to share my experience with the world. Yoga has enriched my life, I could not do without it.”
Other things she couldn’t live without: Music, traveling, friends & family, animals, and raw dark organic chocolate. Casandra is a person who’s an old soul, she’s young at heart, rebellious and a free spirit. You’ll feel and see that reflected in her classes. Shine on!

I have been practicing yoga since 1999, beginning with Ashtanga yoga in Austin, Texas. By accident, I discovered a Bikram class in Tacoma, WA, and fell in love with HOT YOGA. Developing a serious passion for hot yoga, I received RYS200 in 2015 through Sterling Hot Yoga Works. I studied the Bikram dialog and began teaching Bikram classes. I also have 50Hr YA CE for Bikyasa Module – Hot Flow. I really appreciate the benefits of a hot yoga practice. Bikyasa is a Hot Yoga practice combining Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Bikram into an intense yet fun practice. Not only does Bikyasa help strengthen the spine, but also purges the visceral organs of toxins. 80 min. will go by quickly, and you will have fun doing it. Come join me to see how beneficial this practice can be.
Originally from El Paso, Norma discovered yoga in her 40s and began a regular yoga practice in the rainy city of Seattle in 2007. While living in Seattle Norma had the opportunity to practice and learn to appreciate different styles of yoga. After a few yoga classes Norma knew she would trade her Gym membership for yoga. Norma had always been active, but nothing she had ever done before brought such an incredible mind and body connection. "Yoga takes me to a place that no other form of exercise or fitness routine can. I want to share yoga with everyone and how they too can find their inner wisdom & teacher." Norma's primary goal is to create a space where each student can evolve as a person, become healthier physically and mentally, but most importantly help her students find their own and unique inspiration.
Norma is a Certified Yoga Instructor. Norma is also Buti Yoga Certified as well as AromaTouch Certified in Essential Oils. Norma typically incorporates essential oils into her yoga classes to provide her students with aromatherapy enhancing mental and emotional wellness, and support physical and spiritual well-being.
